It may be only technical yet it grinds my gears 100% - well, maybe not as much as the planned way of improving M25/J10.
Any further discussion on the pedants' thread, I think.

My son, who has bought eggs again. We have seven chickens, we have a mountain of eggs.

Rich celebrities doing a zoom-a-like advert from their big fancy homes for a charity which helps buy laptops for disadvantaged kids.
Put your hands in your own pockets - you could do a schools-worth each and get your mates to help with others. Doing an advert for charity to get your face on the tellybox is very gear-grinding

Like Carp - my son. He has had a headache of sorts for over a week and thinks it's a brain tumour. Three telephone and two in-person GP appointments have told him that it isn't. Despite being told to buy a pack of Migraleve and see how he is in a week's time, he keeps moaning about wanting an MRI scan and asking if we would pay up to £500 to have one done privately! It's actually giving me a headache listening to his constant whinging.

+1 for rich celebs asking Joe Public to make charitable donations.

[Are we just assuming that said rich folk have not given to charity, and are not using their not insignificant platform to raise awareness of a cause? Although if it's Comic Relief again, that can bog off.]

I often wonder if some get their VMLM place by making a four/five figure charity donation so don't need to actually go around asking for sponsorship.

The state of the kitchen when I came home. My children can feed themselves but don’t have a clue about clearing up.

They need training, though they will conveniently forget when they come back home. Pretty sure ds1 keeps things spick and span at uni but I come downstairs and the kitchen is a shit tip. Though he did tell me today that he refrained from cooking bacon in the wee small hours so as not to wake me up!
