Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Commendations for grammar textbooks that boast they will tell me when to use grammar.

What's wrong with 'whenever using language'?

Spending the whole effing day trying to get my daughter to empty the dishwsher (it's her turn). Meanwhile the dishes are piling up on the side. It'd be much easier to do it myself but that's not the point.

flippin electronic parking brake. The fact that I can no longer legitimately call it a hand brake. The fact that I have to think for very many seconds before I remember how to work it. The 'polite' reminder that the car has applied it automatically for me when i switch off the engine. I HAVE NEVER FORGOTTEN TO APPLY IT IN MY LIFE UNTIL IT TURNED INTO A POXY BUTTON!

I'm probably (definitely) not the first person to say this - but why the fuck are people wearing masks outdoors, in the open air where there's zero chance of getting C-19.
Last week I was out running and heading past someone wearing one who completely freaked out (I was at least two metres away) as I went past. Totally unnecessary and paranoid.
I'm also pissed off with the idiots who think it's ok to discard the wretched things all over the pavements!
Rant over.
