Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

JC 16619 - Us too, although for no better reason than not wanting the house to smell like a brothel.
Nothing wrong with coal tar soap either. None of your poncy smelly stuff.

Having to clear 11 years worth of rubbish from behind my sofa. Yuck with bells on.

The tangled mess of cables behind the telly, most of which belong to electronics which have been long since chucked out and are covered in 11 years worth of dust but I don't know which ones are safe to throw out, arrrgh!

Ah. The couple of "really easy" cable tidies I've bought and put straight in the garage as "things to deal with later" could really do with taking out of their boxes...

Huge numbers of people of a certain age who clearly have not flown into a UK airport for a number of years....

- no, you don't need to cram everything into a 'just about fits into an overhead locker' trolley that jams it up for everyone else
- no you shouldn't repack your bag in the cabin. The airbus has a tiny gangway as it is
- yes, you will need to stop rolling your trolley and take an absolute age to put the handle down to carry it up the stairs
- don't complain when I'm trying to walk past you as you savour every last second of your trip through the airport corridors

- and finally, you will need that passport to get through Arrivals . Bit of a clue though - if it's not an electronic one, you won't get through to use the electronic gates. no matter how much you wave it at the man checking people into the area.

..and breathe..

The way the cleaners shove the stuff on my desk around to create the maximum possible inconvenience in the mornings but never actually clean or tidy anything. And I'm sure it wouldn't be that difficult to put the bins back on the floor instead of on the chairs.

The "£1 handling charge" that was added to the cost of the stamp one of my friends forgot to put on a Christmas card and the fact that it took 20 minutes for the "sorting office" to locate the card because the "we've taken this back to the office" card we received yesterday said that it was a "packet" :-(

Every extra mouse-click I have to make because the computer is telling me that one of my many work passwords will expire in 53 days' time so maybe I should consider changing it now.

People denying they have said and done things, while they clearly have and still insisting they haven't even after being confronted with the evidence!
