No one gives a flying one any other weekend (when the answer might be more interesting - an ironman, or running a marathon etc) yet when the answer is the utter tedium of either being at home, or at family's it seems to be of great interest.

I think it would be good for people to never be sure whether they'll get the empathetic one who makes you feel good but prescribes Day Nurse or Canesten for everything from your infected tonsils to angina or the ratty, impatient one who gives you the right treatment for your condition - another interesting dimension to the "health lottery"?

People who are actually ill, even a little bit, and happy to be fobbed off with antibiotics and vitamins, are a delight
