Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

[Thanks swittle - interesting, glad the positive role of local shops is being recognised and protected]

I'd forgotten how utterly shite the news (BBC) is. Too many individual stories instead of looking at the big picture. One person's experience in Wolverhampton isn't necessarily representative of the whole country. Desperate.

Couldn't agree more XB. I've pretty much stopped watching BBC news programmes.

A few months' ago, the main news was all about how bad the flooding was in England. As soon as the coronavirus turns up, the news turned a blind eye to the floods as if they never existed.

[SP - I've been thinking about all those poor people whose homes were flooded too. At least all this dry weather will have helped to dry things out a bit, but imagine trying to get your life back together during this lockdown? I do hope they are getting plenty of help and support].

People who don't like the answer to a question so keep on asking it again in the hope of a different answer.

LOL I actually sometimes have to deal with a person like that. He's been known to go around different people in the same room ask the same question trying to get the answer he wants.

It is both amusing and frustrating at the same time.
