Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The warning on the news of "... contains scenes you may find upsetting..."

It's the ruddy news, its not likely to be all good, fluffy news.

The way there are always at least two members of staff hanging around in front of the loose bananas when I want to buy some. They don't voluntarily get out of the way and they look extremely disgruntled when you say "excuse me."

People who think walking straight at you with a blank look on their face, as opposed to, say, saying 'excuse me' or going around, is acceptable behaviour. Not my fault you decided, half way up the till queue, that you needed something else.

A trip to Sainsbury's involving slow, obstructive people in the store followed by an avoidable delay at the checkout and an ignorant driver deliberately taking up a disabled parking bay without a Blue Badge in sight.
