Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

We did indeed have a discussion on a thread about macaroni pies. Cauli cheese pies belong in the thread about fruit and vegetables in cheese.

And HoD, the answer to who invented macncheese is surely Americans, not content with giving us Trump they have to go that extra mile.

[I've just had cauliflower cheese and onion for tea. Next time, i might make cauliflower macaroni cheese. With a crumble topping.

I saw macaroni pies today: next to them were similar cauliflower broccoli and chilli pies.]

In my few cookery lessons I had at school, one of the things I was taught was how to make maccaroni cheese. A macaroni is something else entirely.

The idea that exercise is a punishment or price to be paid for daring to eat anything, and that all benefit of exercise is lost if one subequently eats anything else.

I just want to smack people who come out with that sort of shit - it's such a fucked up way to think about food and exercise and one's body.

That one has steam coming out my ears too, Raemond. It's the sort of suggestion a five-year-old might come up with.
