Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

[I can understand that, WL. I was getting at those people who park at the roadside and don't close the gap between them and the car in front of behind.]

With every pet peeve, there are always genuine and reasonable exceptions. WL's is a clear example.

Which leads me to,,,,

People who park in parent and child spaces and have no children!

Mince pie fascists, who from the beginning of October attempt to force offerings of the food of Beelzebub down the throat of any unsuspecting soul who crosses their path.

Let me be clear: Oliver Cromwell was right to ban them. I'd have gone further - much further- burning at the stake would have been too good for these people.

My sis (with infant son in tow) once blocked someone in who had parked in a parent & child space, and then went and got the manager. She's proper fierce.

I like mince pies. I wish I didn't though.

Mincemeat in Oliver Cromwell’s time was a very different product than now. It actually contained meat!
He may now have been so oppressed to it if he could have tasted the modern variety.

Toilet paper dispensers in hotel bathrooms that are jammed so full you can’t extract the paper, end up having to tug a load out that usually break in the process, grrrr
