Colleagues who don't take an interest in something until I do, and then suddenly seem to have very strong opinions on how it should be done.

I haven't passed my assignments? No, you haven't. What an I going to do? Enroll again next semester, do some study, talk to us, use learning support, use the study plans we talk about...... you need to make some effort Yeah, but I've had a lot on? The semester has now finished, you needed to talk to us months ago. Can I get an extension and get it done in the next few weeks. No, the semester has actually finished, there aren't any students here (look around), staff are going on leave, you can't possibly complete a semesters study load in a week or two. What about reasonable adjustments? They have to be reasonable and this isn't. I could submit a complaint. Yes, you could submit a complaint. Just make sure you give specific details as to what you did throughout the semester to seek help or when you spoke to anyone and some reason as to why you have attended less than 40% of your classes and didn't respond to emails, texts or calls to see where you were and if you needed any help. This isn't fair.

This currently popular trend among film and drama makers of having timelines all over the place. It's OK if it's going from present day to say 50 years ago but often there's only 6 months or a year of a difference. Trying to keep abreast of where you are isn't always easy.
