It's a bit rich that the subject of the debt only has a civil offence but we would get a criminal offence for not complying. Well it's a pain in the arse and costs the company money and it doesn't help threatening us

I get annoyed when they wander all over the pavement and come head-on with me. Also, when they are so obsessed with their device on public transport that the elderly or infirm are not offered a much needed seat.

I was gratified to see so many others out enjoying the fine Autumn day, but baffled that so many (all ages) were, it seemed, unusually intent on their phones. Until I heard someone say, "there's one over there".
