That some people think that one sandwich, cut in half, makes two sandwiches.

Getting sent letters by HM courts telling me it's a criminal offence if dont abide by a court order to deduct money from a member of staff's pay due to a historic court debt of his. It's a bit rich that the subject of the debt only has a civil offence but we would get a criminal offence for not complying. Well it's a pain in the arse and costs the company money and it doesn't help threatening us

Pokemon Go 'hunters' (or whatever they call themselves).
Every bloody weekend The Green is populated with packs of these people wandering around staring at their phones, completely oblivious to everything going on around them.
"Look up and get the F out of my way!"

If people want to risk walking into a lamp post or falling down a hole (along the lines of Rowan Atkinson in Not The Nine O'clock News) by starring at their phone, that's up to them. I get annoyed when they wander all over the pavement and come head-on with me.
Also, when they are so obsessed with their device on public transport that the elderly or infirm are not offered a much needed seat.

Unfortunately that's sometimes deliberate behaviour. I witnessed it first hand when heavily pregnant. Those were always the people I targeted to ask for a seat!

At a parkrun last month, I went wandering in the lovely park afterwards (Pittencrieff Park in Dunfermline, voted Scotland's best park 2019). I was gratified to see so many others out enjoying the fine Autumn day, but baffled that so many (all ages) were, it seemed, unusually intent on their phones.
Until I heard someone say, "there's one over there".
