Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Narrow country lanes, where I barely ever see a car when I’m doing a
LSR, that turn into M2-sodding-5 when I’m doing intervals. And the cars never come past when I’m walking between efforts.

People who can't help but profess their love for a song by A. singing completely out of time and B. getting half the lyrics wrong. Fun for them, complete hell for everyone else.

The Mastermind box - not even a passing nod to the TV programme. Why?

[We don’t have personal bins in the offices anymore. We have communal recycling points instead. Commendable in many ways, but rather insignificant when it comes to the vast amount of single use plastics that are used within our company].

The use *of* instead of *have*

As in "I could of done that"
Also *off of* instead of a single *off* or *from*
As in "That actor off of EastEnders"

People who pronounce "ask" as "arks".
One is something that you enquire about.

The other is something that Noah might build on a hill.

The Mastermind game is apparently nothing to do with the TV programme. Copyright or something stopped the TV show putting out their own game so they had to call it something else. (There's a Dave Gorman rant about it).
