Also, I don’t like to have lots of pending stuff. I have a just in time approach to work: getting notified a dozen times in advance by a number of different sources about something that doesn’t yet need to done is quite annoying, especially when someone else then goes and does it instead. Do I keep them in a to-do folder which I then forget about? I flag them for follow-up but if there are too many (to me that is more than 5 or 6) I can’t see the wood for the trees, or just go work blind. No, I don’t like lists, I like to keep my to-do list in my head. If I forget it then it is not important to me and doesn’t need doing.
