We were thinking that we could pip Man City for second on goal difference as they were losing at Bradford. Thanks to the Birmingham fans, we discovered that Man City had equalised late on and we still had 30 minutes left to play due to the pitch invasion. The match petered out into a dull finale as Birmingham were already going down and Palace were consigned to the play-offs (which we won, of course).
