Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

[I always press the button. Isolated crossings you need to. At junctions, sometimes the ped crossing phase is skipped if the button hasn't been pressed, if it needs all the traffic to be stopped and it isn't a very busy junction for pedestrians]

Deafeningly loud (& shite) music at the gym. When you look around and see how many people are wearing earphones, you have to wonder for whose benefit is the music playing.

People who stand up straightaway when planes land.

I say stand up, but I mostly mean 'stoop', due to the overhead lockers.

I don't know why people do it, as it is always ten minutes until anyone can disembark.

Still on planes, tossers who insist on reclining their seats (just because they can), wiith no thought to the person in the seat behind.

Bonus points for those who eat their dinner on planes with seat reclined while sat bolt upright
