Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Jeff, what is it specifically about adults on scooters? I have one myself along with other fetchies.

Mary Berry.

A harridan.

This program of hers is making me feel physically sick the fawning old cow.

I think Jeff dislikes being overtaken when he’s walking or driving by people with scooters and big smiles on their faces. Aww, bless him :)

I used to see lots of parents riding them to school for pick up, before handing them over to their kids for the return journey. What really grinds my gears is the way they swing round and tw*t you in the shins at an alarming pace. Nothing hurts more.

I took my scooter into a pub in the IoW last week. A chap said ‘you’re one of those trendy types who work in London aren’t you?’

‘No’

‘Well Portsmouth then?’
‘Nope’
‘Um, a trendy type who works in Southampton?’
Maybe Jeff is from the IoW? :)

You learn to avoid the ankle wrecking swing with practice, fetch. Having a scooter with big wheels helps, kids’ scooters are so light they attack you without warning!

As an ex-patriate Islander (but an Ovener, not a Caulkhed) I have no issues with scooters or anyone of any age riding them. If you're happy to look like that as you move along (and usually scooterists have a big grin on their faces!) then more power to you!

But people in IoW pubs.... probably one of my brothers!
