Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The first five minutes of any festival set. Oh, you want to be right up at the front? Maybe you should have headed up there before the music started (not hard to find out the timetable), instead of sprinting from the bar when you heard the first note then irritating everyone from back to front by doing that annoying shoulder-yank thing and then muttering scuse me as if it makes up for it. Oh, you've heard one song and decided the band are rubbish? Well, better do the same thing as the last mob, only in reverse.

[I know, it's part of the price of hearing music live, but I can't concentrate on listening when I'm being jostled that hard that often]

Diane 'bandwagon' Abbott.

I know more about the case she's waded into and yet she still believes she's obliged to talk about the matter. She'd be better informed if she read the IPCC statement.

Tricky situation when you are the local mp as well as shadow home secretary. She cannot afford to come down on one side before all the facts are properly known

She could do more to diffuse the situation rather than stand in front of an angry crow. And I say this as a card-carrying member of the Labour Party.

(Nice to have you back albeit briefly DrK)

I think she would be better helping quietly and not showboating on the street. Just renewed my membership

I now have a mental image of Diane Abbott standing in front of an angry crow :-)

It's good to see corvids taking an interest in politics.

Paul Heaton is one of my musical heroes Dio, he has written some astonishingly good lyrics.
