Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Finding that europcar's offer to my wife just typing in their web address was the same as their 25% off offer to me, but both were far less than the price I got by following the link from an advert on Fetch.

Companies who have a contact form on their website but don't respond to it. And don't answer emails. Or return phone calls. Wankers.

Oh and race briefings. First, I can't hear what's being said because I'm usually too far back. Second, ignorant oafs who don't shut up. And third, numb nuts who put their headphones back in after being told that headphones are forbidden.

+1 on race briefings. Why do they do them at the start line? I've never, ever heard a single word from a race briefing, no idea what gets said at one.

Either what they are saying is important, in which case they should make sure everyone can hear, or it isn't important, in which came why to they bother?

The pre-race safety briefing I delivered on Sunday was indoors, with a microphone and was impeccably listened an adhered to be the runners.

I've also been to many races where people keep talking/laughing and you can't hear a word which is really ignorant.

I wouldn't be able to hear even if none of the other runners were talking. Several hundred runners between me and the speaker absorb all the sound.
