Andy, I agree wholeheartedly with most of your post, but I think AR was implying that he was abusing the space by parking in it even though he didn't have a disabled badge in the first place. Fleecy, true up to a point, but incidents like this: http://www.fetcheveryone.com/blog-view.php?id=17035&y=2011&m=6 mean it's not that simple (she had bruising on her shoulder where the cyclist ran directly over her, clear enough to show it was an MTB with knobbly tyres, and the shoulder's never completely regained all motion). |

OK, Badger - I get that, although lacking a badge at all wasn't mentioned, and the going to the gym therefore is a bit of a red herring (except for irony purposes). In that case, said van driver is clearly worthy of gear-grinding and general dobbing in. People who don't state things clearly, causing misunderstanding. ![]() |

Wobbling
Shops that who have someone standing on the shop floor or by the door, inanely greeting customers, but don't have all their tills open at busy times so the queue snakes round the store.

Fragile Do Not Bend
Or shops like the Co-op next to my old work place, that would have several people in sight of the tills stocking shelves, but none of those people would come over to help clear the queue until the cashier rung the bell to call one over. In my job I would never ignore a queue forming at the counter if all I was doing was shelving, it's just rude. But I guess it was those employees were told to do. |
