Fragile Glass Bauble
The bloke in the local paper who likened his street, which had a few holes dug in it for broadband installation, to a Syrian war zone and World War 3.

WS I think we're saying the same thing (but perhaps you're saying it better than I)
My wife has been involved with survivors groups for years - and getting anybody to take them seriously has been - well I'm struggling to think of a suitable metaphor. The scandalous cock up that has been the so-called enquiry is just another example of establishment inertia and inability to clear up its own mess.
Yet a few footballers come forward (OK its more than a few - and its great that others who have so far kept quiet have been thus emboldened) and suddenly resources are being chucked at it like there's no tomorrow. Resources that previous - less glamorous groups - such as the residents of Children's homes, could only dream about.
You'll forgive, I hope, those who have struggled alone in the dark for years for asking why.
I'd like to hope that its because lessons have been learned, I really would....

On a lighter note - Slades "Merry Christmas everybody". Nothing against Holder and his mates - but please please lads - surely you've made enough from it now.....

OH works in paediatrics and chlid ptotection. What happened to the football people is a daily occurrence in all walks of life. My only hope is that people don't see it as a football or Rochdale or Oxford problem. It is everywhere.
I quite like Slade. It's not their fault radio jocks lack imagination or wit.

Fellrunning it was on the radio the other day that song makes £500,000 every year, at least it is a christmassy song.
