I'm assuming this stems from the other notion - again fostered in the media- that sexual abuse in the wider community is predominantly carried out by immigrants, or Asians and perpetrated on victims from dysfunctional backgrounds.

Football is being highlighted right now is all. The troubling thing is that abuse of children is going on in every corner in every part of british society. Schools. Clubs. Scouts Churches and most of all families. You name it it is there. The sooner people grasp that fact. The better.
