Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

What do you know today, that you did not yesterday?

This is one of my favourite roundabouts, though. I used to get my car serviced just down the road:

The High Wycombe one is easier for people to comprehend as the roundabouts are quite spaced apart. It's when there is little time to change lanes it gets exciting :-)

Now I like a village green with something on it, like the quintain at Offham:

Or the stocks and whipping post at Aldbury:

As is to be expected, and even congratulated, there is a UK Roundabout Appreciation Society.

that for my blood type (B+) I can receive blood from others with B+, B-, O+ and O-, but only give to those with B+ or AB+. I'd assumed it was a reciprocal arrangement.

[O- is the universal donor meaning anyone can receive O- blood. But O- people can only receive O-. Generally you can donate to another group that shares your letter, but Rh+ can only go to other Rh+ where Rh- can go to either - or + (within the group restrictions)]
