Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

team 3 The best place to be - thanks for all your support, looking forward to seeing you at fetch point. I ran last year and finished 4.48 and expect to be a similar time, roughly 11 min miles. Garfield will be lovely to see yu again. I will wear a fetch bandana as a hair and and fetch t shirt under my charity vest. Currently resting as pulled a muscle in y side and running reading half on sat and hope to PB, if this muscle recovers in time. thank you. X

Good luck for Reading on the weekend guys!

I've only run one marathon so far and got calf muscle cramps around 18 miles, so at the end of the day who knows, but the aim is for 10 minute miles on the day, so I'd hope to be at 13 miles around 2:10, and 23 miles around 3:50 or 4 hours. That's the plan anyway.

Yes Mummy I will be in saame gear minus the name this year. Found it too off putting people shouting my name in mile 23 when completely spent. Cheers Lordy. Hope to see lots of you in The Chandos pub in Leicester Sq afterwards on 1st floor. :)

Debart - hopefully the muscle improves. *healing vibes*

Mummy? :-O That is oddly disturbing.

Lordy, that's pretty much my experience in all 3 marathons to date. Mile 18 is not a happy place. :-( But this time you'll have mile 22 and a whole heap of Fetchpoint love and the confectionary/sticky drink of your choice waiting for you - and that makes a hell of a difference to your mood :-)
