Morning all , just finished a longer yoga session. Did my first real bike session for Spain yesterday. 15 miles point to point with 1000ft of climbing and just rode hard attacked the climbs and rode good tempo. The laugh being I did it on the road on a cx bike with knobblies on. Why? Going to do Farmageddon at the Wyre Forest with the GF and her lad meant I needed an offroad bike. Proving once more speed doesnt matter but effort does. No long ride today due to time constraints and well fun things but if all works out 3 shorter efforts. The joy of training for Sprints is this counts. Take care on the roads kids, looks icy. |

Kids rugby cancelled due to frozen pitches. Very pleased to have found out just as we were driving away from our club, so minimal wasted miles. And a bonus day returned to myself! And no tank of diesel expended. Instead there will be some house jobs and a walk on the beach later. And it is bloody icy on the back roads. BCOT. |
