Raemond
Happy second day of 2019 chaps, chapesses, and anyone who falls in between.
I'm 5'4.5 and still pleased to say I weigh less than Gobi-wan, but I no longer know if I can genuinely claim to look better than him in a corset. I'm fairly confident I float better than he does, though.
I decided to do a yoga every day in January thing
having toyed with running every day (which I but nobody else was calling runuary) or doing some other sort of sports every day (couldn't think of a bad pun for anything), yoga seemed like it might be more practical to fit in with traveling and darkness and whatnot. Neither dry January or veganuary appealed as I give up booze and meat for Lent anyway.
So today, being a Wednesday but out of 'term time', I shall do yoga this morning and go run with the my old club in Eindhoven this evening.

Good work Raemondo!
And the jury says.....73.4kg. Ooof.
Lammers etc - yes, as Gobi says borderline obsessive (goes with the territory - most guys around my level are similarly afflicted).
What really does my nut in is that I'll put in 70, 80 hour training months to be the best I can possibly be. That's a huge amount of effort and sacrifice yet I leave significant performance on the table through poor diet choices - type of food, volume of food overall. You can't out-train your diet. It's hard to get up at 5am for an hour's masters swim, or smash out 2 hours on the wattbike but I can do it. It's easier to say no to pizza, millionaire shortbread, an extra portion etc but I really struggle here.
Anyway, we go again.....let's buckle up for the ride again....

OK I'm going to make this public (well, this thread-type public). I'm 5'2" and this morning on the scales in the seaside house, I was 64kgs *weeps bitter tears*
*perks up, knowing that the scales in our other house, which are *of course* more accurate, always show me to be 62Kg*
Am still a lard-arse,whichever one you believe

Nice one Daisy, do you have a plan for doing something about it?
Not sure i'm prepared to confess on here, strangely, suffice to say i'm hoping to shift some weight this year, mainly through eating more sensibly, but also trying to do a bit more exercise.

My plan is to not eat so much, lammo. OH cycles a 20 mile commute, as fast as possible, every day and has calorie requirements to match. I have a very bad tendency not to match him in exercise but to match him in portion size and snacking. I need/burn far fewer calories than I consume

Happy New Year everyone.
I am a whisker taller than LD and a whisker heavier as well! Losing a pound a week will see me hit race weight in time for the start of the season though
I made the 5am swim so this year has started off the way it should.
I did a 10 mile cross country run on Saturday and a 20 mile bike on Sunday but managed to pull my Achilles in half an hour in the baby pool on Monday FFS.
Hopefully I'll get round to getting the turbot set up tonight zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
