Hi, I'm going to be doing my first sprint tri end of next month and I need a tri suit. What do you recomend, if I like it I'd plan to take on the olympic distance next year so it would need to work over a longer distance.
Thanks Covbaldy

2XU's suits have little pockets - miniature versions of the ones found in cycling jerseys - that are great for stuffing gels in *once you've got your wetsuit off not before because it will be messy*.
I use (because it is my club kit) an Impsport one that has the same feature. I've also got an old Craft one that I've had years and is still going strong.

Cheers Greg, A friend also mention 2XU as being a good piece of kit. Might be worth a look at, are these compression tri suits worth the money?

I have a 2XU compression tri suit. Love it, have raced to middle distance in it.

I've got a 2XU two piece that I used to race in, and I still consider the tri shorts as being one of the best items of kit I own. 2XU. A good thing. Ditto Craft, of course, and indeed our friends at Zoot.

I've got Orca tri shorts and pair them with whichever of my tech-shirts takes my fancy on the day. Means you can choose vest, T or even long sleeves.

If you want a cheap one to try - moremile do an own brand one through the startfitness website: http://www.startfitness.co.uk/prodtype.asp?strParents=4126,4127&CAT_ID=4141&numRecordPosition=1
I don't have one, but someone I know does have the women's version and said it's ok, especially considering it's half the price!
