Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Oh, I see. Sounds like it would cause a raging thirst if nothing else?

I'm generally in favour of opiates. Paramol is good.

Here's the odd thing. Once I'd started this wire the toothache went away. Dentist appointment isn't until Tuesday mind, so it has plenty of time to come back...

I have toothache currently, varying from discomfort to AAAAARGH! Think it's coming from a broken incisor which has been sitting harmlessly for a while*. It's also making my nose sore and radiating to my sinus. I did not sleep well. Not necessarily expecting any particular practical input, I just felt like putting it down somewhere.

* Yes, I know, seeing a dentist is the normal course of action. It's been a while since I've visited.

You’ve got to bite the bullet and go see a dentist I’m afraid

Pain continued, barely slept, face started to swell, called NHS 111. Got an emergency appointment and am now less one tooth stump and hopefully the accompanying infection. Still considerable discomfort but should now be on the downswing.

Encouraged dental nurse to do C25K and come to parkrun. It came up as she asked what I would have been doing - the answer being running a 12K race starting half an hour from then.

Got something to say?
