Hi gonks. Way behind on the thread as been busy with family etc. Just back from an 8.5 mile run. Bit of luck - bumped into my old school friend who is the only runner I know down here, she was doing a long run at 10 mins a mile pace so we ran together for 5 miles or so, made it so much easier!

Well done folks.

Been a draining week here. 50 hour work week. Colleague at work’s mum died unexpectedly on Wednesday. He & his brother have always lived with her. So he’s heartbroken. And on Friday an Auntie of mine also died suddenly. Not seen her for some time, but she was only 63.

So wasn’t sure I’d be up for 10 miles today. But bumped into a friend not seen in a while during run, so 6 solo followed by 4 chatty miles.

Now on annual leave for 2 weeks.
