Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Brilliant park run LL and they are incredible stats Steve! No hanging up of shoes needed

Got my friend her half she set herself an idea to do a fast lap on the first which she also did, I wore my vibrams totally forgetting how rough the ground is in areas and kept landing on stones in the same areas so my feet took a battering.

Clocked up 30 for the month so far but next week will be very low as I’m away with work then weekend with friends. Timed nicely before the big event weekend after next.

Have a great next week all and hope you’re feeling better Lesley and MrsB hope you start to improve too.

30.22! Great parky LL!

Thanks everyone for the encouragement, I need it.

Looks like a chilly week coming up and you all know about my grumbles about the be winter!!
Only did 2.4 this morning and didn't see a soul anywhere!
Have enjoyed all the Indoor Athletic Championships from Turkey. Great breaking the British 10k women's record by Eilish McColgan yesterday. And the British 10 mile record which goes back twenty odd years broken too (can't remember the bloke's name).

Missed out saying well done on your parky too hs! And Lesley! What times I can't even dream of doing!

I remember Twinkle and of course "Terry"...I think Twinkle made Top of the Pops worth watching for certain cohorts! Wow to having Sir Mick message you ✨🙂

Loads of great running! I’m looking forward to the lighter evenings, but wonder when I’ll ever get to watch TV if I don’t run on the treadmill a few times a week!

I assume we're not talking about the little girls' comic from the 1970s here? 😉

3M, Twinkle was definitely a real person who lived not far from me when I lived in Surbiton in the sixties, and she lived on Kingston Hill. She lived on the Isle of Wight in her later years, and unfortunately died from Cancer.

The previous British 10 miles record holder was Ian Stewart, way back in 1977.

A pleasure 3M.

An enjoyable, but very wet and muddy 10 miles this morning with the Monday Group. I attempted to jump across a wide and deep ditch which the others had walked over on a branch. I took a running jump and landed in the middle 😁 I would probably have fallen off the branch, so thought it was worth a try.

HS At least you stayed upright! It will take a while for your trainers to dry 🤣 well done on your 10.
I managed a slow 7 today which keeps a green tick for March.

Well done on your half GG and mileage nice to have it in the bank.
Hope your improving Lesley.
