Today, before I went for a run I logged in to find out where the bug was and noticed that despite a 200 bonus, and 24 other points my points had gone down (as you can see in the photos). How does that work?

That would mean that the 200 bug bonus you will receive tomorrow (provided you have squished all your bugs today) will raise your score. However, when last Thursday's and Friday's big scores drop off you will see a big dip in your total score.

And lost 8 on a very annoying traffic light; it’s on a semi-regular cycle route, but very near the end of it so I should try to remember to switch the Garmin off a bit early. Last visited July 8 so maybe it’ll go. Is there a way to tell which traffic lights are earning points?
