Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Doing a 2 hour turbo before a cross country race doth not a fine performance make....

Started slowly, slowed up in the middle section then fell apart.....think I ended up about 8:07/mile and about 30 places lower in the field than usual.

Still, good training and what I expected once the ego is put aside....

Only 4 slices of bread, and if I’m not mistaken it’s toast and not fried bread......

AA - an hour suffering on the watt bike followed by a short weights session for me today - too cold to go out on the bike as I fear my foot would freeze off

That is some breakfast!

After yesterday's 4 mile run I did another today followed by a short swim, first time I have managed to bi-lateral breath for the whole session.

I’ve been “racing”, in “Innsbruck”. Felt better than last time, but I’m still pitifully slow.

Good to be riding hard for 40mins though. Happy! :)

I'd certainly give that breakfast a good go.

Gentle 6.5k jogged, and Adriene's post run stretchy session yogaed.

Also new metal/changeable stud boots, new padded under shirt (girly specific this time), and a second mouth guard purchased for extra rugbying purposes.

Rugby gear is good. My lad informed me this morning that he’s outgrown his Mum's boots so needs mine...!! :-o

Fortunately it’ll be a temporary state of affairs. This is the year he’ll become taller than me so his feet will also need to grow (lest he become wobbly). I’m looking forward to getting my boots back before next season :)
