And reinstate the fire places which ought to be in there, judging by the chimney stacks.

Interesting lack of blinds and curtains. Bit clinical for me too, though I do like the fact that I've learned the word 'Slaapkamer' for bedroom from the plans at the end of the photos.

And did you notice the floors? Nice bit of colour on the walls, more interesting furniture, couple of stuffed squirrels, it could be rather honey. I reckon you'd get a very nice Christmas tree in that hall. The main problem is that it's in Belgium. But if it wasn't in Belgium it would be at least €200k more expensive. |

I like it, I like the arched features. Careful with the sloped ceilings though, especially going to the loo!

Prices depend on location. The property is situated in a more rural area leading to lower prices. Re the absence of curtains- they are not needed since there are no close neighbours. |

Not having blinds, or having them and not using them, is a common cultural thing in this area regardless of the proximity of other houses; it proves you're not doing anything weird that you feel the need to hide. It's very common for neighbours to openly look through each others' windows and wave, too. We have blinds to keep the sun out though, rather than prying eyes. Also because we're massive deviants, of course. |

I rather like that. Their artwork freaks me out a bit though - all those huge faces.

I'm just after their storage from picture 45. Love a decent sloping cupboard.
