Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

It's very sad to see a house in a state like that. I also can't help wondering if the one next door would be a desirable property either. With the bus stop right in front of it!

I would suggest that with the amount of mould in the few pics that they've put on that the roof has been off for a while so it will all need taking back to brick, rewiring and plumbing. I dare say that it might be cheaper to knock it down and build to your own plans unless you like the current plot design.

Well, if you wandt a doer upper ... and have the £2m asking price ... and have, oh say, another £5 to £10m, since it's a Grade II* listed property, how about this one

I'd have it like a shot. Only at my age I'm not sure I'd get it finished in time to enjoy it. Or have anywhere near enough furniture.

I'd consider that if we were at the downsizing stage of life.

Ooh, that one's got a ha-ha, I'd love a property with a ha-ha!

Was the wrecked one perhaps a student rental perhaps?

I like that property but sadly my pockets aren't deep enough. Leasehold though?

That is lovely :)
Thought it was somewhere else when I first saw it. We spent many summer holidays in the converted coach house of a very similar property in Barnstaple when the kids were little. Was quite upset at the thought the family were selling up and very glad it wasn’t their home.

Impractical layout here. If you’re in bedroom 3 you’d have to go downstairs, all the way through the lounge and kitchen and up the other stairs

That's OK if it's an office Meglet.
If a bedroom, I'd be turning my garmin on overnight to get the mileage!
