I wear them out pretty quickly, they typically dont last 150km. Though my current pair have about 300km in them and are still going strong.

Very late to reply to a message about 10 pages ago, but the 25% off is from Nike on your birthday if you're part of their Nike+ club. Currently they're doing 20% off if you get 3 full price items. Also, if you have any kind of corporate deals through work or club then Nike are often on these, I got an extra 8% off via an EdenRed employee scheme giftcard. I believe there are also cash back websites that offer up to 6%. |

Has anyone compared stride length and cadence on vaporly v other shoes? I was wondering where the advantage lies.

Cadence for me is strongly affected by training habits - I sometimes work at keeping a reasonably high cadence on easy runs, but don't always work consistently at this. Mostly, my VF runs seem to have slightly longer stride but on the other hand some races I did several years ago at an unusually low cadence for whatever reason also have a long stride, compensating somewhat (but not entirely) for the low cadence. I think speed is a clearer indicator than cadence or stride length alone can be. It is speed that directly relates to power and efficiency. |
