The 04:00 update has my yesterday's miles on it. I'm already over 2,000 places ahead of my bib number, which I presume I can equate with my starting position. Forging up through the field after one day! 😉 |

i'm reading online that chrome is better than safari for the site but its still not been updated since 4am , frustrating as i'm heading for the border crossing ……… will be in Tennessee sometime tomorrow.

I have got into the tracker on Chrome this afternoon.  When I select "Tracking with Map" and enter my bib number, I get a map with my location shown by a red pin. I have seen screenshots where an individual's location is shown on a visible track of the route (rather than in an unmarked field, which is where I seem to be!) with an info box. Do you know how to generate this? |

Not a clue. I've seen those from the first day or two and maybe they are no longer trying to produce that because it's even slower than what we have now? NDWDave? Think you posted an image like that?

I have an unofficial one which uses *cough* Str**va *cough* data geofit.club Seems to use the driving route so less picturesque than the official route

Interesting that the geofit link is obviously taking the data from the GVRAT site as it’s not giving my correct total .... just the lagged data on the race website 😥
