I'm a lifelong Conan-Doyle fan and loved the young Peregrinette's notes, very perceptive for one so young Sherlock is pure escapism and even now, getting on for 45 years since I first picked up "A Study in Scaret", I still dive in there every now and again and escape ....

It surfaced about halfway through reading it and then it was wrong anyhow because it was some other compilation called something similar. I think I enjoyed it. It just kind of slid over my brain somehow. I did find myself wondering how Stephen Moffat had managed to make such great stories from such flimsy ones. And some of the attitudes were a bit off. But all in all it was a bit like marshmallow. Not unpleasant, but not something I would seek out. I think I'm going to give it a 5. But I'm not sure I cba....

I did get a little confused a couple of times as I got the stories muddled in my head but that was probably from reading them consecutively.
