Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Everyone reported it to be as firm as it's ever been despite the rain in previous days, so good for a fast time. Amazing watching the fast lads and lasses, they just seem to float over it, no matter what the conditions. And great to see juniors going so well.

Since 2018 or 19, slightly different finish, back towards the start, not uphill all the way to the pavilion. But same route otherwise. :-) G

Thanks K5 Gus! And HappyG.

The section around your 3 mile marker was really boggy last week.

Any of our NE correspondents have any thoughts on whether Aberdeen Parkrun will go ahead on Saturday? ๐Ÿ˜€

50/50 shout i'd say. the prom itself will likely be fine but the start area might not clear quickly enough unless the temperatures start to turn PDQ.

Not been to beach or HH last couple days. Just looked at Aberdeen city webcam for the beach and itโ€™s still looking like snow is still there on both upper and lower prom. Would say snow melted a bit today but going to freeze overnight.

Very early course inspection of Hazlehead tonight, it was lovely running yesterday, but if it gets slushy then freezes it's deadly....

it will cancel in good time, if it does.

No idea re Stonehaven, but one of us will check the park tomorrow. The pavements and roads here are lethal at the moment so I'm not hopeful. I'm so sick of this weather!
