Not a particularly Scottish angle but it does correspond with what I see happening. Certainly I see large groups of young people meeting to run outside certain running shops with a high social media presence. But they’re going running so that’s all good !

One of the membership guys was actually a local running club member too. I guess they don't think it's worth it? As you say, anything that gets people out exercising is good. I do think the paid running apps are weird though. You can get a "plan" or guide on how to run for free! Never knowingly paid for something when I could get it for free! G
