Four miles (and a bit...) safely done today - so the imperial version finally completed at my 4th attempt. Like CumbriAndy, I found last week quite tough. Had to wear my orienteering shoes with the metal spikes on Monday to cope with the ice, and 7/8/9/10/11 on consecutive work mornings were hard work.
Tried to stick a bit closer to the target mileage this time - with the only major 'overachievement' being last Sunday when I needed to do my usual loop round town to stand a chance of making the WSW semi final, but also wanted to go and play in the snow in the the local nature reserve.
I'm going to have a crack at 'run the product' (so multiply the digits together, rather than add) for February. Will aim for imperial, but reserve the right to drop down to metric! Fortunately the two big days at the end (14 and 16) fall at the weekend.

Well done EdJ! Great achievement, and good luck with ‘Run the Product’ - that really does sound like a challenge!

Well done Ed
I like the sound of run the product - especially with the zero days - but the big days falling at the weekend does not work for me, so not Feb or March

I've just done a wee spreadsheet. For a 31 day month, RTP is only 11 km/miles longer than RTS, and only 8 longer in February. It just ramps up a bit more in the last week!

Well done everyone who has made it through to the end of January - especially those on back-to-back months, first time completers, and Imperial runners January's weather certainly made it a challenge!
Sooo... that's 4.09 miles for me and Imperial RtS DONE! *phew*
Feeling please with myself. It was tough but not necessarily on the longest distance days. I don't think I could have done it if I had been full time going into the lab/office - I was mainly WFH in January. I also did every run in one go... I might consider splitting the distances on longer days if I do it again.
EdJ - that 'Run the Product' sounds interesting... something to consider for the future. I think I might try to carry on into Feb. but RtS 'classic' version (in km) and aim for max. efficiency. I still need to pass 10K steps each day so will be upping my walking.

Hmmm... it appears I might have run 1.13 miles ahead of my 3.1-mile walk.
Seems like I might be in again...
Good work Lip Gloss, jennywren and ThorntonRunner
