Oh Claire - not just an "oh" for the wrong name but do you need to take possession of the kitchen, srsly?! Nearly as bad as getting a set of pans or an ironing board - or is that just me?

My duffers this year is from my lovely mum who hasn't got a clue.

She bought me awful 'active wear' with her saying 'oh you can wear it when you run'.

It was a heavy cotton tracksuit. :(

A Jane Asher 'Celebration Cakes' book from Poundland - includes several recipe/decoration ideas for wedding cakes (all made using Poundland cake mix - yummmy!) but helpfully points out that, if piping icing is too tricky, just leave that off. If piping icing is too hard, what the hell are you doing trying to make a wedding cake?!? Straight on the charity shop pile...

Don't do presents so never get crap. Don't do cards so never offend anyone by not sending them one because everyone knows that we don't. Don't have a TV either.

Everyone's richer and no ones disappointed.

Are we Bah Humbug? Nope - we had a great time. Nice food, good wine. A walk in the hills. A roaring log fire with snoring dogs.

That sounds great FR, wish mine was more like that.

I got one of those cheap shower gel/deodorant sets and too many chocolates.

I did get a really nice book with old pictures of the town I live in, it's good to see how it has changed over the last 50/60 years.

I agree MerryMinardi, lol, not very good. Good job he got me a few other decent things. He said he'd take it back & swap it for the right name. I gave him a little kick in the shins.

Oh dear Zeb, that's not good, haha.

Who wants to swop? I like the cling film. At least useful. I have unwanted Mary Berry eggcups with matching spoons and a running vest ( Or is it a running vest? Is it 'active wear'?) There is not much to it. The back is a Y of elastic. It is very clingy. The girls said it was sexy, but I reckon only if you like grey sausages.
