I'd be surprised if Derek Gee was planning a double at this point in his GC career. Not sure on the other options IPT have though for GC at the Tour.

PCS has preliminary starting lists with some teams more complete than others. IPT has six names on the list. Gee isn't on it but there's still two spots to fill even if those six are confirmed. procyclingstats.com |

Good race. Really enjoyed the ITV4 coverage as usual. Gonna miss them after the tour. The race threw up a bit of a puzzle, though. I know I was only watching highlights, but it seemed like there was only Sivakov helping Pogacar. I didn't even know Marc Soler was in the race until he was mentioned, once, on the last day. If I was picking their team for the TdF, most of the support would come from their Giro team. Visma's team looks a lot better, and throw in their Giro contingent, should make it very interesting. Pog will need support. Hope he gets it. And glad Remco and Jonas had a good race. Considering what they've been through, should make for a good TdF. Although, Remco's team are crap at supporting him too. |
