Boris isn’t Gordon Brown. So he’s not expected to be a “details person”. Interestingly in South Korea the supporters of the furthest right party (the one of Park Gun Hye) - and those further right than that - always wave US and Israeli flags with the Korean flag, mainly as they regard those countries as fellow travellers I guess. These people are usually at least 60 and hark back to the dictatorship of Park Chun Hee (Park Gun Hye’s father) with fondness. |

But the press won't focus on that like accusations against Corbyn, and they'll edit out the bits that make Boris look like what he is.

Or "new hospital" when all you mean is sketching a building on a piece of paper. "new artist's impression of a hospital" more like. |

Well at least Boris is genuine about making some new buses.

And certain sectarian football supporters in Scotland and Germany wave Palestinian flags because they are idiots who just like a fight. But that's no excuse for a political party not being careful with their language, and if necessary, even being less overt with a policy because of potential between criticism of a country, government and policy being misinterpreted for criticism of a religion. These are supposedly intelligent people. Labour are just not being "savvy". Bring back Alistair Campbell (and I never thought I'd say that!) to get the message managed better.

Re Israel, I think their treatment of the Palestinians is abhorrent!

I find Morgan’s behaviour bizarre as she isn’t standing for parliament over Brexit policy but seems to be advocating for the Tories still. A reasonable media performer and a “recognisable” face but if she didn’t want to be elected as a Tory why does she want to promote them? What has she been offered as a sweetener? |

I knew some Wimbledon hooligans in the mid to late 90s who would take PLO flags with them when they went to White Hart Lane.

Here's a loaded question. If the genocide against the Jewish people had not happened, would criticism of the state of Israel be more comfortable?
