Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I voted Inside Out, having never seen it, because Kermode liked it. That's probably the same thing.

The one I really don't get is Ratatouille. It's a rat. That cooks. A rat that cooks. That's it.

I think it is an example of a title looking for a film

Well said Goobers.

A rat sitting in a Chef's hat controlling his movements for cooking by pulling his hair. Utter rubbish. Probably came from some drunken 'brainstorming ideas for our new film' session and should never have made it off the whiteboard.

It didn't 'tail off' mind - it started poorly, sagged badly in the middle and thus had no wiggle room to actually tail off at the end...

It was probably Kermode's favourite Pixar....

I liked Ratatouille without loving it. The Paris 'sets' look pretty and it's warmhearted and completely, utterly unmemorable. I genuinely couldn't tell you what the plot is about other than it involves kitchens, a rat, cooking and Paris.

[I think Kermode's favourite Pixars would be TS, TS2, TS3 and Inside Out]

A sort of Pixar film equivalent of Adam Lallana the footballer, a Vauxhall Vectra, a pair of fawn chino's or a Phil Collins album then....
