Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Commando is the most comfortable way to go, in my experience. There's nothing brave about it, because no one either knows nor cares. And if they care that much, you're not really going to be interested in anything but running in the opposite direction! ;-)

By the way, I meant running with pants feels weird.

My Nan would have said "Keep it dark, it's a black pudding" which was her way of saying "Keep it a secret"

I can't imagine running with knickers under my shorts or cycling for that matter. Too hot, too much material going on. I've never done it.

If your trousers split, you flash your moon a bit. It's not a disaster ;)

(It's never happened to me, and I've run thousands of miles with no knickers on.)

I don't like running commando, I tried it once and felt weird. My favourite running pants are those boy short stylee synthetic ones from M and S. Failing that, no VPL ones are often good, as they don't have big seams. The material is the most important bit, must be synthetic and not cotton to avoid chafing. Then just find a cut that suits you, some are uncomfortable but I reckon it depends on the individual.

I wear the same ones as fleecy by the sound of it. They come in packs of 5 from m&s.

Not so Lazytoad!
That explains yesterday then as I think they were cotton ones :(

Will pop into M&S I think and seek out some of the ones recommended by Fleecy & Susie :)

I will at some point have a go commando, not sure its for me but I don't know unless I try and all that lol :)

I don't wear them under shorts, because they have that inner lining anyway. But I do wear them under tights, having seen enough overly stretched thin fabric inadequately covering large bottoms at events ... I'd rather have a VPL :)
