Born and grew up in Liverpool (witnessed the Toxteth riots although I assure you I had no part in it). Getting on a bit now so maybe I should change my Fetch name to Oldliverbird. Been living in Glasgow since 1992 where I met my husband Allister. We have two children. Sadly Allister passed away from cancer in 2022.
Started running in 2010 and became obsessed. Love the long distance, love marathons but after several wanted more of a challenge.
Have done a couple of ultra's and long distance backpacking. I was supposed to tackle the South West Coast Path in 2020, but as we all know Covid happened. I still hope to do this but not sure when.

What's the biggest challenge that awaits you?
My husband passed away in May 2022 at only 56 years of age. Those who have lost their spouse will know exactly what I mean. |
