Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

October: onwards! To half time and beyond.

As promised - a carry on doing stuff thread.

Not a typo above. Half term is too early in the month and end of month Halloween is over promoted anyway. Half time can mean whatever you want it too and BE whenever you want it to be.

I'm continuing with my new training on October 1st ... the coach said October is a progression. Let's see if I'm up to it!

The ‘club training run’ is on our patch tomorrow night. It’s a long time since I went out fellrunning after dark with friends

Nice way to celebrate the start of October, DT. Do you wear a head torch?

My October aims - to beat all my pb's apart from the marathon one, still not sure I'm up to running 26.2 in one go, but the other's all look achievable after an extended period of easy run's

Yes Sharkie headtorch. We ran most of last night’s session with them but it was woodland and riverside path not fell. There’s only one thing better than a social headtorcher and that’s running in snow after dark under a full moon without the need for artificial lights

wish I could join you DT!

I just want October's log to look close to October's plan - with no excuses or random FFS! incidents

My plan is as simple as continue to run every day, fit in Tues and Thurs club runs, run with Stef on her Lady Anne’s Way 100 recces and make sure I walk my 100 miles in the month

Also quite a simple plan here :
Replace rugby with taking dogs and Sam for runs
Keep lifting weights
Project Joker.

Yesterday I signed up for my first proper event since VMLM 2019 - a HM in March 2021.

So my running (going for a bimble at whatever pace and distance I feel like) will have to start resembling something like "training."

September ended with a rare trip-arse-over-tit run, so fings can only get betta.
