Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

We just found a dead mole Should we leave it for stuff to eat? No obvious injuries or anything. Definitely dead.

Stuff it in a mole tunnel! The smell of decomposing mate puts other moles of for a couple of months!

I like moles. Sorry I know that's anti gardening. Anyway they were getting a lot of flies so we popped in a bag and into the outside bin. Hopefully we get a new one soon 😂

First raspberry harvest tonight. Not doing too badly.

Pigeons have ravaged my red and black currants though. Not even ripe. Idiots.

A mole hill has appeared on the edge of one of my veg beds. I’m currently testing the theory that sticking a wind spinner in it will put off the mole.

Fizz :-)
The moles were ok in our garden until they trespassed into WW’s lawn . . .

The molehill soil was excellent though :-)

I love moles! As long as they stay out of my veg beds, where they cause destruction. Double bagging and in the grey bin.

Seems to be a good year for lepidoptera.

I’ve barely seen any butterflies in my garden this year. My gone to seed PSB have been uncovered for about a month as I haven’t got around to pulling them up and no caterpillar damage to be seen.
