Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Penultimate leg home, on the ferry having breakfast before drive home. It's been an ultra journey and a short 25m run rather than the ultra run it normally is. Last thing was the rail replacement bus halted for half an hour for roadworks at Helmsdale last night!

Will be good to be home.
Enjoyed reading all the race blogs on the bus! Hazel and Veloci, I'm sure another time it will be successful!
Seemed to have walked for miles yesterday . Probably lots of washing and camp kit airing and maybe a short walk today.
Have a good Monday all.

Hiya
Cackle - super blog, that's an epic performance, well done
Els - test of endurance all that travelling...hope you make it home not too stressed
What - Vets T&F league later. Likely to only do the 400, we actually have steeplechasers and the 1500 won't be pretty. We'll see.
Why - Round 3, 2 wins out of 2 so far, can we carry that through?
last rest - 29/05
last hard - Saturday / tonight

Lyrics pulled me in! I love it :) Though it requires a trigger warning for cruelty to animals.

What: A bit of walking.
Why: The DOMS remains strong.

Morning

Oh forgot to read @cackleberry 's blog, treat for later.

Good luck for this evening @Dustin

Decent run with M80 @alehouse . Thought of you yesterday whilst watching cricket (T20 action)

Ultra travelling @ElspethF . Hope you are home soon.

What: short test run
Why: how does it feel
Last hard: Friday
Last rest: yesterday

Lyrics: no

Verdict: undulations aren't great and achy afterwards. Probably also poking and prodding things too much. Will contact physio tomorrow as BH today. Otherwise gentle and preferably flat short runs according to discomfort

Hazel, hope the I jury proves fast!
Veloci, no real animals were harmed !
Just food shopping washing and kit sorting so far. Maybe a walk this afternoon.
Hazel, I love the hood on my sleeping bag but it's not really warm enough and my heavyweight one too heavy for backpacking.

Meant to say that yesterday's lyrics were from The White Cliffs of Dover, Vera Lynn
