Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Just a quick question for anyone that might have done the online safeguarding course to either renew or achieve LIRF licence.

How long should I set aside? I can see at £10 and with 2 modules and multiple choice questions it's not going to be long.

Thanks in advance.

I did it last year, but I can't recall how long it took but I don't think it could have been more than a couple of hours.

Yep - same as Incognito... I did it in January of this year but can't remember exactly. I think it depends how much detail you want to note down. I remember gathering up a notebook and pen but then not really using them - I agree it was probably a couple of hours all told.

Some info here on same course suggesting 30-60 mins per module and you can dip in and out.

I think I did the whole course in about an hour. I didn't bother taking notes or anything just went through the content.

I did it a few months ago - it really didn't take long - it is mostly common sense. I think I was done in an hour.

My daughter did it earlier this week to renew her assistant coach qualification, she said it took longer to logon and pay than it did to do the course!!

EA are not interested in people failing they just want to be sure that coaches have it in mind when ever they are coaching

Did it a few months back - think it took under an hour. All common sense.

I did it this evening as part of my lirf course thing.

Took me about 45mins.

Mostly straightforward.
