Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

New thread started - it links from the Related Threads box too, so if there is wetsuit and jacket and buoyancy aid chat you can flick easily between! :-) G

Went for a paddle on Monday. Usually I'm really good about checking the weather and wind speed pretty much right up until before we set out. This time, because I was staying overnight, and meeting my fellow boarder on site the morning of the paddle, I only checked before I left home on Sunday. Bit of a mistake. But it certainly gave us a bit more experience of a tougher paddling session! It crossed my mind we may need to abandon the river and walk the boards home, but fortunately it didn't come to that.

It's a great workout though Louise, eh? I had a tough one a few weeks ago and proper digging in to the water to make any headway. Well done you guys. :-) G

Nice work Louise. It’s not a bad thing to be edged out of your comfort zone occasionally.

We had a club wet session last night. Lots of rescues and time upside down. Great opportunity to practice edging and finding the limit.

I found a happy place yesterday. Some tandem, triple and solo canoeing. Need to get out more often.
