I've got a new ipad Air for personal use and like it and also got a new ipad 7 generation for work. The basic ipad is good it has a plastic screen and not glass but you don't really notice it.

And the new 7th gen ipad is £349 or buy refurb. I have had several Apple refurbs over the years and can't fault them.

If GAME are still open online their apple reconditioned stuff is good and all come with a 12mth guarantee - you do have to check it’s an item being sold by GAME though rather than just on their marketplace.

I’ve an iPad 9.7 (2018) got a really good deal from curry’s when I bought it new (£329). I love it. Not too big and 32gb memory which is plenty for me . I charge it every other day atm otherwise every 3/4 day.

I've got an Air 2 which I've had for 4 years, it's on 13.3 and working fine and dandy (as far as it can, being a horribly inflexible device as it is - would much prefer an android tablet but this one comes from work).

Thanks for all your help before and now wondered if someone can tell me how I can change the look of my ipad keyboard. I don’t like the symbols and numbers on all the time. I have went into settings but can’t seem to find a solution

Go to settings

Then general

Then keyboard

Then there is a choice to enable or disable key flicks - make sure that is turned off.
